Spiritual Gifts are found all throughout the Bible. These are not natural abilities, skills, or talents; rather, they are supernatural endowments of power from the Holy Spirit! In other words, spiritual gifts are special abilities that the Holy Spirit gives certain members of the Church so that different aspects of Jesus can be revealed through different people.
Paul said Spiritual Gifts are for the "common good" of the Church. This means that we as Christians are meant to benefit from them. He also wrote that the Holy Spirit gives to each Christian just as He determines. Not everyone has the same spiritual gifts, and this causes us to need to rely on each other.
We are all different parts of the Body of Christ. Because of this, the more Christians who are expressing their spiritual gifts, the more clearly Christ can be seen in the world! This is why it is so important that we come to realize our spiritual gifts and practice them.
Everyone has a role to play in the Body of Christ, and I designed this test to help clarify the spiritual gifts you might already be practicing without even knowing it. Knowing your gifts helps you to define your role, and this helps you to stop comparing yourself to others and simply follow Christ.
There are more spiritual gifts mentioned in the Bible than you might think. I have spent many hours pouring over the Scriptures, digging through reference books, looking up Greek and Hebrew words, and studying the cultural and historical background of the books of the New Testament. What I found were more gifts than I have ever seen in one list: 31 to be exact.
I did not include what many call the "five-fold ministry" of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers (Ephesians 4:11) because these are a different category of gift. There is no doubt that these are roles in the Body of Christ, but I didn't want to muddy the water of this particular list by adding what some would call "offices" rather than "gifts." A separate, more appropriate test will later be developed to identify one's possible role in the five-fold minstry.
Each of the spiritual gifts targeted in this assessment test have definitions that meet the following criteria:
The result, as mentioned, was 31 unique spiritual gifts—the single most comprehensive, Biblically-sound list that I have ever found. This is—as far as I know—the most complete list of Biblical Gifts of the Holy Spirit that has ever been compiled to date. The test below, then, is perhaps the most quantitative and robust assessment of its kind...and it's 100% free!

This Spiritual Gifts Assessment Test is divided into five unique sections totaling 155 multiple-choice questions and will take approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour to complete. Your scores will be automatically tabulated at the end and will be accessible immediately when you hit the "Get Results" button at the bottom of this page.
No personal information of any kind is required to take the quiz or receive your results. On the "Results" page, you will have the option to e-mail your scores to an address of your choice. Your test results will not be saved on our system.
The software for this test will automatically check to see if you answered all questions before submitting the scores for tabulation, but you can save yourself some time by answering everything the first time through.
Be careful that you answer based on what actually is true rather than what you would like to be true. Not having a particular spiritual gift is actually a good thing because it forces you to rely on other Christians! No Christian has every gift, so don't feel bad if most of these questions don't apply to you. Please answer every question as honestly as possible.
One last thing before we get started: An online test is no substitute for spiritual discernment and confirmation from other believers. This is simply a tool to help make you aware of possibilities so you can investigate them further. Your test results should reveal spiritual gifts that you currently practice, and they may even uncover gifts that you have not yet embraced as part of your ministry.
The more honest you are, the more accurate your results will be.
Let's get started!
